BBC: State ready to spy on net users

From August net service providers in The UK will be legally obliged to carry out automatic surveillance of their customers' web habits. ...The information gathered about the websites that people visit, who they exchange e-mail with and who they call on the phone will be passed to the police or a government monitoring station.

Big Brother is watching you, has been watching you for some time, and will continue to watch you.
